Israel to extend daylight saving time
Interior Minister Eli Yishai recently announced that Israel will extend Daylight Savings Time to the beginning of October instead of ending on the Sunday before Yom Kippur. The new ruling extends daylight saving time period to 193 days, from the current 170-191 days.
